Evan was born and raised in Orange County where he attended Fountain Valley High School as a student athlete focusing on water polo and swimming. He later went on to graduate from California State University, Long Beach with a degree in Economics.
Evan began his financial career through the independent advisor channel, building his own business from scratch. He says this experience has helped him understand the importance of a proactive service model and ingrained a deep appreciation for each one of his clients and the trust they place in him year after year. Evan joined the Murphy Financial Services family in 2020 as a Partner and Wealth Advisor.
When Evan is not working with clients, he enjoys hanging out with his beautiful wife, son and daughter in their little "Backyard Oasis," riding bikes to the beach and traveling whenever possible.
Evan's best piece of financial advice is to "try not stressing over variables you can't control - like market returns. Instead, focus on what you can - like the amount you save, how you invest, and accurately defining your financial goals. Do this, and over time, the rest will take care of itself."
